Horseshoe Farm Show with Haflinger Classes!

SHOW WITH HAFLINGER CLASSES!!!!

The Eastern Connemara Group are holding a show at Horseshoe Farm, Dereham (Norfolk) on Saturday 2nd June, there are in hand and ridden haflinger classes, as well as dressage, working hunter and some fun classes  which are open to all.  Schedule via Horsedates.

2012 Training Bursary

Haflinger Society of Great   Britain

Training Bursary

of

£150

 

A training bursary is being offered to fund training (with an accredited trainer) and entry fees to Haflinger Riders of any age who have been members of the Haflinger Society for at least 2 years and who ride a Haflinger who is fully registered with the Haflinger Society of Great Britain.

Candidates are expected to be committed to attending at least oneCountyShow, The National Breed Show and a minimum of 3 local events throughout the year on their Haflinger.

The successful candidate should be willing to promote the Haflinger, help with Haflinger Training Days and be prepared to write regular articles for FOH on their experiences and aspects of their training.

It is intended that one award is made annually but the criteria may change from year to year.

Applications are invited for the 2012 award. Eligible members can apply by sending their horsey C.V. plus their plans on how the grant would be used to Kim Ginns at 10 Fielden Court, Lower Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire MK45 4NL

All applications will go to the Committee and the winner will be announced at the end of Jun 2012.

Please note that the Spring Show scheduled for Sunday 8th April has been cancelled.

Thank you to all of you who sent in entries but unfortunately there just wasn’t enough to run the day.  Any cheques received have not been banked and will be destroyed but if you have any queries please contact

2012 Inspections

*STOP PRESS* Inspections 2012 

The Society’s inspections for 2012 will be held on the weekend of 12/13  May. It has been decided to hold regional inspections in Norfolk, Essex and  the Midlands. Our registrar, Mrs Patricia Harrison will contact you with regard  to the arrangements, if you have already confirmed your intention to bring a  horse forward for inspection.
If you have an eligible horse which you would like to bring to one of  these venues, but which has not been listed for inspection this year,  please contact Tricia Harrison as soon as possible on 01706 874250 or Jane Evers-Swindell on 01824 707201.
The inspection team this year will consist of WHF judge, Herr Wim Grievers,  Miss Jane Evers Swindell, Mrs Margaret Davenport and Mrs Tricia  Harrison.

NEW REGISTRAR

 

RE:THE HONORARY REGISTRAR

Many of you will be aware that at the AGM held on Sunday 22nd January 2012 Mrs Patricia Harrison was appointed as the new Honorary Registrar replacing former Registrar Sue Seel.

The changeover is now complete and Tricia is in a position to deal with all registration issues and enquiries.     Any passports that have been sent to the former registrar in the last few weeks are now with Tricia.     We thank you for your patience during the interim period.
