Terms and Conditions of Use
1.1 Use of the Haflinger Society Of Great Britain Online forum, including the private messaging service, indicates your acceptance of these Forum Terms and Conditions of Use as well as the Haflinger Society Of Great Britain Online Terms and Conditions
2.1 Advertising of any kind is not permitted within forum posts or member signatures; this includes, but is not limited to, the posting of items for sale, business, web sites, etc. Any member wishing to advertise on this site should visit the Classified section for details.
3.1 All users of the Haflinger Society Of Great Britain Forum must be over 13 years of age. Any user under the age of 18 will need to obtain a parent or guardian’s permission before posting anything onto the Forum. You should never reveal personal information about yourself, such as your address, telephone number and school.
3.2 Members must never give their password to another person. You also agree never to use another members account to post messages or browse this forum.
3.3 The forums are intended for the discussion of Haflinger horses and equestrian related topics. Posts on any other topic should not be posted and will be removed.
3.4 The forums should not be used as a means of veterinary diagnosis or prescription, and should not be used as a substitute for a consultation with a qualified veterinarian. It is possible that advice given here may be dangerous, and members should make their own checks that any advice given is safe.
3.5 Members should adhere to basic standards and not post anything that is rude, abusive, offensive, disruptive, intended to cause trouble, threatening, racist, homophobic, sexist, ageist, pornographic, obscene, defamatory, libellous, insulting, name calling, false, misleading, illegal, promotes illegal activity or inflammatory.
3.6 Members should not post anything that infringes the intellectual property, copyright or other rights of any third party or breech any applicable laws.
3.7 Members must not use this Forum for transmitting any ‘spam’ or junk mail, or any other form of commercial solicitation.
3.8 Members must not post onto the Forum anything that contains any software viruses or any other code, file, program designed to harm the function of any computer or telecommunications equipment.
3.9 Members must not collect or store (or attempt to collect or store) any personal data that it may receive about other members of the Forum.
3.11 To ensure posts are easily readable by all members the use of internet shorthand, slang or ‘text speak’ is not permitted within Forum posts.
3.12 Members should not post requests for financial donations from members for any reason whatsoever on the Forum.
3.13 The forums are intended for public discussion between all members. Please do not post messages intended for the attention of individual member(s) on the Forums. Personal conversations should be conducted using the private messaging system.

4.1 Any member using the private messaging system do so at their own risk and accept the risk that they may be exposed to offensive or inappropriate material.
4.2 Members sharing personal information with any other member using the private messaging service do so at their own risk.
4.3 The Haflinger Society Of Great Britain does not pre-screen or monitor private messages posted between members and accepts no responsibility or liability for the content of the private massages posted by members. However, the site operators are able to access private messages if needed to verify any compliant made against a member’s use of the private messaging service.
4.4 Members should not post anything that is rude, abusive, offensive, disruptive, intended to cause trouble, threatening, racist, homophobic, sexist, ageist, pornographic, obscene, defamatory, libellous, insulting, name calling, false, misleading, illegal, promotes illegal activity or inflammatory.
4.5 Members should not post anything that infringes the intellectual property, copyright or other rights of any third party or breech any applicable laws.
4.6 Do not use the private messaging service to post unsolicited messages to any other member of an advertising nature including but not limited to, promoting items for sale, businesses and web sites
5.1 If a member fails to adhere to these Terms and Conditions, The Haflinger Society Of Great Britain reserves the right to terminate the member’s participation of the Forum. The Haflinger Society Of Great Britain also reserves the right to terminate the member’s participation on the Forum if their behaviour is damaging or potentially damaging to other members.
5.2 Members who post offensive materials on this Forum acknowledge that this may expose them to the risk of legal action (civil or criminal) being taken against them.
5.3 Any member who has their access to the Forum terminated and attempts to regain access may have further action taken against.
6.1 Members using the Forum do so entirely at their own risk. The Haflinger Society Of Great Britain, and its directors accept no responsibility or liability for any content in posts made by members, including Moderators, in their posts including but not limited to any accuracy of information given, views and opinions expressed, advice given or any claims to professional status or experience whether posts are subject to any pre-screening process or not.
