LIFETIME RIDDEN PERFORMANCE WINNERS
Gallery of Champions
The title and awards are given for outstanding Haflingers that have during their lifetime exhibited versatility, temperament and athletic prowess. The Haflingers included in this Gallery have all of these attributes, and as such the Haflinger Society of Great Britain wishes to recognise them and celebrate their achievements.
These Haflingers as well as being Trophy winners have been dear and close friends to their owners. They have given unstinting love, immense fun and true companionship. In the early days of the Society we had a slogan - Happiness is a Haflinger – this is as true today as it ever was.
The horses recognised here are the present recipients of the accolade, as others qualify they will be included in the Gallery on an annual basis.
The recognition of these Haflingers is based on a criteria achieved at the Annual British Haflinger Breed Show, this being the only venue at which the Society measure quality and conditions.
There are three Categories that must be achieved these are:-
Category 1. Which looks for Balance, Performance and Compliance
This category is achieved by winning ridden and dressage classes.
Category 2. Jumping ability
This category is achieved by winning show jumping and WHP classes.
Category 3. Temperament and Versatility
This category is achieved by winning RDA, Handy Pony, Side Saddle,
Gymkhana, Western classes etc.
Each candidate must win a class in each of these categories.

It is recognised there will still be outstanding Haflingers, who may never qualify for this award as it is not possible to monitor their achievements comparatively.
