Schining Light’s story
Schining Light came to North Wales as ten year old having bred six foals. She had been broken and schooled at Oxnead. Shy did part of her qualification for this award whilst at Oxnead. Since she has been with us she has been in three breed shows and won the Show Jumping Championship in 2006. Schining Light has competed in side saddle classes with Emily Bambridge.
Shy is a very balanced mover, and has competed successfully in dressage classes. She has been placed in many different disciplines, having a sensible temperament and the ability to impress. Shy has the potential to do more in dressage competitions, we hope she will get the opportunity to do so.
As well as the show jumping and dressage classes, Schining Light competes in Handy Pony, Ridden classes, gymkhana and Western classes. She takes part in fun rides and has competed in Hunter Trials and the like.
Schining Light is regularly ridden by beginners and novices. She is patient and gives her all, to each child that rides her. She is popular and the children like to ride her.
Schining Light is a talented horse, who shows enthusiasm and drive. She is well loved and I am immensely proud of her. She is a Schining Light.
