Sahara gained her place in the Lifetime Ridden Performance Awards by gaining:-
Category 1 – a win in the ridden.
Category 2 –a win in the Working Hunter Pony.
Category 3 – a win in gymkhana and a win in Handy Pony.
Sahara’s sire is the well known stallion Allahies, who has been incredibly successful in the in hand showing classes at the Breed show.  Sahara’s dam Saskia is a daughter of Alpine.

Sahara's Story

Sahara is owned by the Holmes family, at present she is living in North Wales.  Sahara is an attractive and versatile mare.  Sahara although still a novice, is an active and extremely talented mare.  She has scope and a tremendous feel for jumping.  She is doing well in her dressage and ridden work and improving slowly, she shows promise in this field also.
Her riders enjoy her scope and enthusiasm and are enjoying seeing her learn and understand what is required of her.  Sahara has attended two Breed Shows and has done very well.  Last September she took part in her first Hunter Trials and did extremely well proving forward going and bold.
Sahara enjoys everything she does and shows incredible promise as a performance horse.  I feel she is a horse that merits the term ‘watch this space’.
